With the advancement of technology, smart wearable devices such as waterproof wristbands have become increasingly popular. The trend toward thinner, smarter electronic products has also placed higher demands on PUR hot melt adhesives. Basic requirements for adhesives in smart wearable devices:1. Precise dispensing and high bonding strength for structural components;2. Waterproof, resistant to mechanical vibrations and drops, and capable of withstanding high and low temperatures, salt spray, and sweat;3. Protection for PCBA, securing wiring harnesses, fixing and reinforcing components;4. Compliance with ROHS, halogen-free, REACH, and other environmental requirements, with relevant testing and certification.

In the manufacturing process of precision electronics such as mobile phones, adhesives can provide a variety of functions, including but not limited to sealing, structural bonding, fixing, insulation, and protection (such as window bonding, casing structural bonding, battery bonding, flat sealing, PCB assembly and protection, etc.). Currently, smartphones are developing towards larger screens with narrow bezels. In particular, for the structural bonding of narrow-bezel phones, the assembly of TP touch screens with brackets is important. Since tempered glass screens are coated and have a relatively small area, and brackets may have varying degrees of deformation, it is recommended to use a non-corrosive adhesive with high bonding strength, easy disassembly and rework, and good weather resistance—PUR hot melt adhesive. Advantages of PUR hot melt adhesive:1: After curing, it has strong adhesion and high strength, meeting the bonding requirements of most electronic products.2: Compared to other electronic adhesives, it is easier to control the thickness of the adhesive, which can meet the design requirements of current narrow-bezel smartphones.3: PUR hot melt adhesive is a thermoplastic polyurethane. Using PUR hot melt adhesive for bonding makes products easier to disassemble and repair.
